Mugi – Miale’s Son

08.05.2017
While some lonely cheetah males benefit from uniting with others, forming bigger coalitions, some males lose their coalitionmates. Since early February, we have been observing Mugi – Miale’s son born in 2014, alone. For a week after losing his brother, Mugi was staying at the same area being very nervous, scared and vigilant. We were looking for Mukiri – Mugi’s brother, hoping that brothers will find each other, but in April when we found Mugi alone again, it became clear, that his brother had been lost. Mugi is still successful hunter, who is covering areas, where brothers have been observed previously.
