Take Part in Cheetah Research!

You can support our work by providing us Cheetah Images taken in Maasai-Mara National Reserve and surrounding Conservancies. Pictures taken in the Mara help us building Mara Cheetah Pedigree, tracking cheetah movements within the Ecosystem, learning their lifespan and cub survival rates. Lern more at: http://marameru.org/eng/news/mara/.  You also can follow individual cheetahs’ lives by learning from our posts on their stories at: http://marameru.org/category/field/

E-mail your images of the Mara cheetahs to us to: mara-cheetah@mail.ru and Meru/Kora/Bisanadi cheetahs to: meru-cheetah@mail.ru together with your name and address, so we can tell you what is known about the cheetah you saw.

Our research will benefit from any photos of cheetahs taken in the Mara in 1999-2013 or Meru and Kora National Parks and Bisanadi National Reserve.

Become a Team Cheetah Supporter!

Field Reporter You can support our work and become a Team Cheetah Supporter by providing us cheetah images. We have been collecting photographs since 2001 for building Mara Cheetah Pedigree which helps to estimate population trends over the years. Your cheetah images taken from 1995 to date in the Maasai-Mara National Reserve and surrounding Conservancies will complement existing vast data and therefore will make a substantial contribution to cheetah conservation in Kenya. For the better results we need profiles of walking/standing /sitting cheetahs from both sides. We are also looking for pictures taken from 1995-to date of females with cubs (of any age).

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUOUS SUPPORT!
